On today’s podcast, David and Sarah dive into vaccine mandates, religious exemptions, and the Civil War. They analyze a recent court ruling blocking the Biden OSHA mandate, and then discuss what a “sincerely held religious belief” is in the eyes of the law. Finally, they conclude with a discussion of the Constitution, Abraham Lincoln, and whether he was an authoritarian who “broke” the Constitution before it was rebuilt by the Civil War amendments.

In this listener's opinion, the old music captured the spirit of the podcast a lot better--sure, it's rational and sober legal/cultural analysis, but it's approachable, and often funny! AO is for any smart people who want to listen, not just con-law-minutia pedants. The Leslie/Ron line from Parks and Rec and upbeat music felt a lot more fitting and welcoming to non-lawyer listeners, and I hope we move back in that direction.
I still hate the new music. It has not grown on me, one bit. I agree with others who note that it doesn't match the tone of this podcast.
