I’m going to admit that there are times when you guys really dive into the *nerdery* and my mind wanders a bit. However, this is such a good podcast. I took some college classes after high school, but never got a degree, and yet I really enjoy learning things. If you were good at talking about car engines, I’d probably find that interesting!
The last four years, and especially this past one, have been so difficult. I started out wanting to like Trump, and it was easy to feel frustrated by the far left progressives. I listened to a variety of podcasts, and even tried Dan Bongino (I couldn’t listen to an entire one). I tried Mark Levin, and pretty much the same thing. Everything they said was wrought with emotion, and how the other side was trying to destroy us, etc.
Meanwhile, my husband and I really enjoyed Jonah’s podcast, which is how we ended up here. We still think he’s tops, but I have to say that your podcast is right up there. People on the right are really carrying on about *free speech* and how their voices aren’t being heard, but you explain things so well. You aren’t emotional (except for the chicken and Rambo!), and you do a great job of explaining what’s really going on.
A wonderful friend called me recently, and she and her husband are big fans of Bongino. However, she seems to be willing to listen, so I’ve been trying to gently guide her towards information that gives more clarity. She seems open to it, and I hope it’s helpful. I think this podcast would be a good one to share. For the couple my husband and I will be seeing on Friday, I think I’ll listen a second time so I know how to respond to some of the things I’m afraid they’re going to say! They’re wonderful people, too, and I think it’s important to try to be understanding but also have a good grasp of the facts.
Finally, I don’t know how David and Sarah were picked to work together other than having law degrees, but you two are perfect! So smart AND funny!! Jonah is going to really need to stay on top of his game because this might become my favorite podcast!
Grabbing a Wendy's chicken sandwich meal on the way back from the doc office today. Will report back.
